Like you, I’ve always wondered, which is faster, a bike or a car? Two wheels or four wheels? BMW’s two wheeler division BMW Motorrad was wondering too. So they decided to put two of the best machines from the German automaker to the test.

Lining up the BMW M3 and the S 1000 RR, they are set to fine out which is the more superior machine. These two machines will start from the opposite ends of the same track, hence the title of this clip “The Chase”. The first racer to catch the other wins.

Both car and bike were fine tuned to get the best performance by Akropovic Evolution. The 4.0 liter M3 can now produce 443 HP and the S 1000 RR can spit out 198 HP. What do you think? Let’s find out!
